At the heart of the home, large windows frame Petit Lac Long and the surrounding mountains. The piano and wood-burning stove give Dawn of the Lake much of its character: make coffee overlooking the water, cook together, let a few notes fill the room and watch the light slowly change across the lake.

Outside, the private dock creates a natural extension of the home toward the water. In summer, it becomes a favourite spot for morning coffee, a swim, an afternoon of reading or a drink at the end of the day. Fall transforms the surrounding mountains with colour. In winter, skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are all nearby before returning to the warmth and quiet of the cottage.

Dawn of the Lake is located about 15 minutes from Saint-Sauveur, while preserving the quieter, more natural atmosphere of Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard. Mont Avalanche and year-round outdoor activities are nearby, while Saint-Sauveur offers easy access to skiing, restaurants, cafés and shops.
